Due to its fortunate endowment Hungary boasts of having an abundance of thermal springs and spas with surprising curative effects. The thermal lake at Héviz is a natural wonder, the spas Bük and Hajduszoboszló, Sárvár or Zalakaros are Mekkas to treat aches and pains. Budapest alone has 123 thermal springs and many of the first class hotels developped excellent amenities to receive guests for cures or wellness treatments all over the country. Famous baths, Gellért, Széchenyi, Rudas or Király should not be omitted from any itinerary.
