Pilgrimage
Christianity was introduced to Hungary by the first kings thousand years ago. Ever since the church has played an important role not only in the everyday life but also in the Hungarian history, culture and arts. After the decades of persecution and silence 1945 – 1989, now people are practising freely their religions.

All major churches are present but the Catholic is prevalent.
